Create a bookmark to SmartMLS
Many users create a bookmark in their web browser to save them time when accessing SmartMLS. This allows them to get right to the SmartMLS login screen (possibly even with their user name and password already stored) rather than having to first open their web browser of choice, enter www.smartmls.com and then click the login button. Once created, the bookmark will appear the top of your web browser, so your favorite sites are just one click away!
Unfortunately with bookmarks, sometimes the web address (URL) behind the bookmark changes, which leads to the bookmark no longer working. This is currently happening to SmartMLS.
The URL (web address) behind the scenes of our website has changed slightly. That means, if you have created a bookmark for SmartMLS that is still using the old URL, it will no longer work. It must be recreated using the correct URL. The correct URL is now https://smartmls.clareity.net.
You may have already gotten a message about this over the past couple of months and created a new bookmark. If so, you do not need to worry about creating a new bookmark. However, if you have not created a bookmark to the proper URL, or you see an error very similar to the image below, you must create a new bookmark:
If you get this error, please use the following instructions to create a new bookmark in your web browser. We are including instructions for this process for the major web browsers.
