If a document has been signed and/or initialed in a program other than Authentisign, when it is uploaded to Instanet/TransactionDesk the signatures or initials may disappear. This is because the digital signature program adds the signatures/initials to a different layer of the document that Authentisign cannot see or access.
Here is the way to make the signatures/initials appears in Instanet:
Open the document (outside of Instanet) and go to Print>Print to PDF- this will allow you to re-save the document under a new name. In doing so, it will also flatten the layer with the signatures/initials. Now, upload this new flattened document to Instanet and you will be able to see the signatures and initials and move forward with your signing as you normally would.
