These instructions are not browser-specific, but they should work for all PC users, since it will create the desktop shortcut through whatever they have set as the default web browser on their PC.
Navigate to the SmartMLS website (www.smartmls.com). Once the page has loaded, go up into the address bar and highlight the entire URL that is in the bar (clicking on the address once should highlight it):
Once it is highlighted, right click on it and select Copy (or hit Ctrl+C on your keyboard).
Now get back to your PC's desktop, go to an empty area, hit the right click on your mouse, and then go to New> Shortcut:
When the next window opens, paste the URL that you copied (either by right clicking in the field and selecting Paste or by hitting Ctrl+V on your keyboard) in the previous step into the empty field and click Next:
Now, give the shortcut a name and click Finish:
This will create an icon on your desktop that will bring you directly to the SmartMLS website through your preferred web browser.
Now, simply click Login and enter your MLS ID and password.
